13 Worst Golden Globe Dresses

There’s a lot to look forward to at the 71st Golden Globe Awards, like Jennifer Lawrence hopefully winning this year for her supporting role in American Hustle.

The Golden Globes, which recognize achievements in 25 categories, 14 in motion pictures and 11 in television, are voted on by the mysterious and illusive Hollywood Foreign Press. The Globes are held at the Beverly Hills Hotel, in a room where food and drinks are served to schmoozing guests.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced Monday that Reese Witherspoon and Mila Kunis will be among the presenters at the annual ceremony, as will Uma Thurman, Kevin Bacon, Julie Bowen, Laura Dern, Colin Farrell, Jimmy Fallon and Robert Downey Jr.

But many people won’t even watch this year’s show to see if their favorite actor or actress wins. Instead, they’d rather check out all the fashion fails that take place on the red carpet.

We love it when a star takes a fashion risk. Even better? When a star pulls it off.

Sometimes, though, they fail.
