Francois Hollande sues magazine

French President Francois Hollande has announced that it intends to sue the magazine 'Closer' after it published the head of state has an intimate relationship with actress Julie Gaye.

Holland told the AFP agency that the article of 7 pages including picture "is an attack on the right to privacy".

41-year-old Gaye is a familiar figure in French cinema and television. There are many rumors circulating for months that her connection with the president and actress has filed suit against several bloggers for that matter.

Magazine 'Closer' published Friday that Francois Hollande often goes to Paris to spend the night with the actress even though living with his partner Valerie Trierweiler.

Hollande has four children with his former wife Segolene Royale.
