Crazy Weather

Extreme cold has hit the United States , Western European banks face storm , while in Germany it seems as if spring has arrived .

Extreme weather phenomena receive a response from the WMO , which it unusual occurrences wise combination of a strong wind from the North to change the so-called polar vortex . This implies a broad region of cold air around the North Pole , limited usually by air currents eastern Jetstream , which turns cold air from Canada to Greenland , Siberia and Alaska back to Canada .

But in certain meteorological conditions polar air can penetrate to the south and cause a strong north wind , which brings frigid air from the North Pole to the South. On the other hand , a high pressure area in the southeast of America sends warm air from the Gulf of Mexico to the north . If the vagaries of weather associated with climate change , it can not be stated with precision. Experts need for a period of at least thirty years to draw conclusions about long-term climate trends .

According to the U.S. Agency for NOAA Weather Jetstream past five years has become the more variable than before and if its volatility is related to weather conditions , it will only be seen in the future .

Yet for years the researchers speak of a possible link between fast heat and Arctic cold periods in other regions . Experts of the Institute for the Study of Climate Pocdamit think that the cold wave in the U.S. related to the greenhouse effect and explain that warming seas and changes in the relationship between winds and precipitation can lead to the addition of frost in the northern hemisphere .
